Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish born and bred singer. She was born on the 25th of December in 1954, at Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox, who studied for three year in the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s, was admitted. She survived on a student allowance and worked part-time to supplement her budget. In the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied by her performance compared to her student classmates and was contemplating a different path she might follow. Lennox was a part of a group known as Dragons Playground as the flute player in the year 1976. However, she left before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent competition. From 1977 until 1980 she served as the singer-songwriter for The Tourists, a British Pop band. She began to meet Dave Stewart, with whom formed the pop-duo Eurythmics. Lennox worked on her solo debut album Diva. The album was released in 1993. Both commercially as well as critically the album was a massive success. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth album by herself was released in October 2014. The C.D. Lennox picked her favorite blues and soul tracks. Lepidoptera is a collection of four tracks that she improvised for piano, which Lennox has released in May 2019. This E.P. The E.P. is her first independent album and a companion to an art installation she created at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled Now I Let you Go... Lennox, along with Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, would go on to achieve international fame in 1990s when they formed the Eurythmics. Lennox's 1992 debut album Diva featured a number of hit songs like Why, the World is Broken Glass. Medusa, a 1995 studio album that features covers of songs such as No More I Love Yous andA Whiter Shade of Pale. Her solo studio albums and the compilation album contain a variety of tracks.
