Katja Herbers has been a professional musician since she was a small girl. She is the daughter Vera Beths (violinist) and Werner Herbers (oboist). As a child Katja Herbers was a part of her mother on tour through America as part of the chamber group L'Archibudelli. She was introduced to theater through her cellist mother Anner Brylsma and her father Leonie P Olak. Her childhood was filled with an au pair from Canada and learned Dutch German and English. Herbers completed her studies at the Ignatius Gymnasium. She completed her studies in psychology within the University of Amsterdam.
